Program description

BalanceLift Updates is a text message program operated by Buddy Street Marketing LLC d/b/a BalanceLift. BalanceLift is an independent financial education website; it does not lend, arrange loans, or recommend financial companies. Subscribers choose one or both types of messages by checking the separate, unchecked consent boxes at balancelift.org/get-updates:

• Informational/account messages: sign-up confirmations, preference changes, requested guide updates.
• Marketing messages: featured guides, educational tools, seasonal financial education reminders, all about BalanceLift’s own content and tools.

Consent to receive text messages is not required to use any guide or tool on the Site, and is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.

How to opt out

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you sign up again. You may also reply END, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or STOPALL.

Carriers and delivery

Supported on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not assured.

Privacy

We never sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
